I’m Maria-Kristina, MK for short, creator of Narcissus & Echo and now The Alcove. I’m a wife to my husband Steliyan, and a mom to two beautiful girls, Freya & Iris. My journey into motherhood and a business owner as a young 22 year-old was a little unexpected, but it led me to where I am today, and for that I am grateful. Now at 28, almost 29, I’m truly ready to step into myself and into my confidence. Â
Why The Alcove

I’ve been working in the floral industry for 8 years now and have created 4 businesses in that time frame. 3 of them being floral related and 1 of them being a branding and social media marketing business for creative entrepreneurs. It’s been a journey but I finally feel at home with Narcissus & Echo and now, The Alcove!
I’ve learned so many different skills in my journey as an entrepreneur and by no means am I going to promote myself as an expert in being a business owner. Just really good in some areas over others and my love for designing with flowers. I believe the beauty of being an entrepreneur and a creative lies within learning something new every day and that is the purpose of The Alcove.
The Alcove is a space for anyone in the floral industry, at any level, looking to grow, learn, connect and come into their own. We will leverage each other and become each other’s support system as we navigate through this beautiful industry.Â
